Mozilla in 2011
I beleive Mozilla main task in 2011 will be reduce the time between the releases. The following is my vision for Firefox releases in next year.
Firefox 4.2 (Release: Feb 2011):
- UI: Complete the mssing pieces, such as: In-Content UI, etc.
- Performance: Start-up time, page-load time, User Response, Resources efficiency, Javascript
- Background updates installation
Firefox 4.5 (Release: May 2011):
- Home tab
- Share, Contact Manager, Others
- Make Install new plug-ins do not require restart
Firefox 5.0 (Release: Oct 2011):
- Fully multi-process architecture
- Ubuquity
- Performance
- Others
